Our Recipes for losing weight
Basil Grilled Cottage Cheese
Ingredients :
  • 300 gm paneer (cottage cheese- low fat) block
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil leaf paste
  • 2 tbsp roasted chana powder
  • Salt & crushed black pepper to taste
  • ½ tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 150 gm grated low fat cheese
  • 1/2-cup low fat hung curd
  • 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste mix
Method :
Cut the paneer pieces into cubes of 1x1 inch. Keep it aside. Take a mixing bowl and mix in the basil leaves paste, hung curd, salt, garam masala, roasted chana powder, grated cheese and oil. Mix well so that a smooth paste of cheese and hung curd is obtained. Mix in the paneer cubes tenderly, ensuring that the paneer cubes are evenly coated with the marinade. Leave aside for 15 minutes in refrigerator. Skewer the paneer in a clean skewer, maintaining even distance between pieces. Cook it on a medium-heated griller or on a non-stick pan till fully done. Remove from the griller de-skewer it and place on the serving plate with the garnish of chopped coriander leaves.
