Our Hyperlipidemia
Palak mushroom
Ingredients :
  • 1 bunch Spinach
  • 250 gms button mushrooms
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1-cup fresh tomato chopped
  • 2 tsp olive oil or low fat butter
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Salt & black pepper powder to taste
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Green chili paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Vegetable oil as required
  • 1 tsp Kasoori methi
Method :
Wash spinach under running water and blanch it. Mix ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and some water with spinach and make a thick paste. Cut mushroom into small quarters. Now heat 2 tsp of low fat butter or olive oil. Add cumin seeds when they crackle add chopped onions. Sauté until the onions become pink. Add tomatoes, salt, black pepper powder, garam masala and stir well. Cook until tomatoes are mashed. Add cooked spinach and mushroom. Mix well and sprinkle Kasoori methi over it. Garnish it with ginger juliennes & serve with oatmeal roti or brown rice.
