Our Diabetes Diet
Moong dal cheela (Green gram pancake)
Ingredients :
    • 1-cup whole moong dal ( green)
    • 1 tsp ginger finely chopped
    • 2 green chilies finely chopped
    • 1 onion finely chopped
    • 2-3 tbsp spinach leaves fine shredded or chopped
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • Asafetida a pinch
    • Olive oil for grilling
    • Salt /pepper to taste
Method :
Soak moong dal over night and blend in a mixer with green chilies and ginger to smooth paste. Add 1 cup water, mix well to make a smooth thin batter. Now add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Heat a non-stick pan and spray little oil, pour 1 tbsp batter and grill till golden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
