Our Diabetes Diet
Chana and Palak Seekh (Bengal gram and spinach kabab)
Ingredients :
  • Green chana- 100 gms
  • Spinach- 50 gms
  • Paneer (cottage cheese) low fat- 15 gms
  • Green chili finely chopped-1 tsf ( Tea spoonful)
  • Cinnamon powder- ¾ th tsf
  • Cumin powder- ½ tsf
  • Corriander powder- 3/4th tsf
  • Salt-3/4th tsf
Method :
Blanch spinach and green channa, squeeze out excess water. Process it in a grinder to make a smooth paste. Mix  the grated paneer, green chili, cinnamon powder,salt, cumin powder, and coriander powder with the paste. Roll outinthe form of a seekh kabab and  skewer the same  before  putting them in the oven  for 8- 10 minutes  at 180 degrees Celsius. Serve hot with mint coriander chutney.
